The Catalyst Team is seeking for an Oracle DBA to join our full-time team as a full-time employee.
Responsibilities:
Respond to App DBA OEM alerts for Sessions, Jobs, Invalid Objects, and MVs
Modify database objects (DDL for Oracle and SQL), validate, troubleshoot issues, and report issues back to the requestor
Apply data updates (DML for Oracle and SQL) and report back results/issues back to the requestor
Install SSIS packages and maintain config files as directed by the requestor
CTS setup (CTS db code, users, roles, and grants) and maintaining the CTS encrypted file
Set up SQL Agent jobs, operators, and profiles as directed by the requestor
Performance tuning
Respond to SQL Agent and Oracle job alerts
Maintain a list of all database jobs (SQL Agent and Oracle) and the application team that is responsible for them
Performance tuning – check daily and re-index one location per month
SQL Agent job alerts
Change management
Qualifications:
Working experience in Oracle applications Database Administration (DBA)
Hands-on Experience with database standards and end-user applications
Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding
Experience using App DBA OEM
Experience using SQL Server DBA, DML, and DDL for Oracle
Performance tuning of Oracle Databases
