This is a customer-facing role that manages the order and shipment process for HP products and services with HP’s corporate end customers as well as our indirect channel partners (those who sell to end customers). This role monitors and problem solves so that the operational flow of orders from initial order capture in our SAP system through to final shipment and billing is done properly and correctly. You will interact with customers throughout the process keeping them informed as to order status and answering inquiries, as well as trouble shooting system and process problems, both within SAP and with adjacent systems and organizations. A high customer service orientation as well as attention to detail is very important, as well as an organized approach to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a first point of contact for regular, on-going customer accounts and some "top tier" customers, on daily operational matters.
  • Resolves operational issues that may arise from the end-to-end sales process (e.g., order status, returns, and deliveries, invoicing, returns, and financial post- sales programs).
  • Engages with other functions and organizations to resolve issues (e.g., sales teams, supply chain, logistics) as they relate to customer support.
  • Acts as a point of contact for a specialized topic (e.g., Order Management, special pricing) and trains team members.
  • Contributes to efforts to optimize current processes, often collaborating with other groups within HP to improve day-to-day activities.
  • Represents team as a subject matter expert on internal processes to other functions and organizations.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree, ideally in business or engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Intermediate communication skills with ability to convey medium impact messages clearly (verbal, written and presentation) to internal and external peers and management.
  • Solid mastery of English (written and verbal)
  • Intermediate understanding of moderately complex internal operational issues.
  • Developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Highly organized and task oriented
  • Prior experience or knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other Enterprise software platforms would be a definite asset but is not required.
  • Comfort and affinity with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and with computer systems in general
