Key responsibilities


Sales

  • Probes and identifies customer needs and provides tailor made solutions.

  • Understand the Market local dynamics and translate that into business needs.

  • Elaborate, Articulate, and follow up a short-long term strategy that respond to business objectives. Identify potential customers with logistic budget spend beyond USD 2 Million per year across their supply chain.

  • Builds a good understanding of target customers and their business.

  • Maximize the impact of transactional sales through effective probing and lead qualification.

  • Provides a personalized service and builds relationships with customers.

  • Tracks competitor information and market trends and suggests required action.

  • Formulates and manages service contracts with customers.

  • Communicates service or rate changes, notable trends, policies, and other relevant information to assigned accounts.

  • Assists with processing price quotes and rate negotiations.

  • Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.

  • Is typically responsible for supporting a small/medium size impact client base in any size cluster.


Customer satisfaction

  • Liaise with Customer experience teams regarding to changes in contracting, conditions, and rates.


Manage stakeholders across the area, region, and global functions

  • Actively provide feedback to One Team Sales (OTS) and Direct Transport Sales (DTS) Manager based on customer feedback and insights.

We are looking for

In this role you ought to be passionate about Building agile solutions for our customers, as well as an active hunter on bringing new opportunities to the organization. For you, providing a great customer experience is non-negotiable, through every step of our product and solutions life cycles. You are highly independent and eloquent, convincing, easy going and senior relationship builder, enjoy working at a fast pace with multiple stakeholders, dealing with change and a touch of uncertainty.

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for

  • College degree is mandatory .

  • Intermediate Excel level.

  • Advanced (C1) English level is mandatory .

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in logistics or shipping industries is required .

  • Track record of success identification of Air, LCL, Ocean, XB and landside business and experience with local decision-making organizations.

  • Customer centricity: proven ability to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and maximize sales opportunities.

  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends, tracking competitor information, and recommending necessary actions to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Experience in managing service contracts and communicating effectively with customers regarding service changes, rate negotiations, and relevant policies.

As for the soft skills, you should have

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

  • Hunger for growth.

  • Fast learning skills.

  • Sense of urgency.

  • Be a team player: strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and drive alignment towards common goals.
