Payroll and Benefits Advisor Senior Specialist

What awaits you:


•    To maintain the financial well-being of the company's employees, a Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of all payroll activities in accordance with business requirements. This involves coordinating and following up on tax and social security checks, internal audits, and resulting measures. Additionally, they maintain accurate records related to annual tax and benefit statements, ensuring timely report submissions.
•    A Payroll Specialist upholds the integrity of the payroll process by enforcing consistent application of guidelines, regulations, and statutory and legislative requirements. They meticulously monitor payroll data accuracy, verifying that all deductions and allowances are administered correctly and in accordance with BMW Group guidelines, policies, and relevant employment legislation. Their expertise ensures that the payroll system functions smoothly and that employee data is up-to-date and compliant.
•    In their role as a key user, a Payroll Specialist actively participates in testing new system requirements or updates, providing valuable feedback to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the payroll system. They demonstrate a deep understanding of HR systems, ensuring that they are up-to-date, compliant, and functioning as intended. Their attention to detail extends to inputting all employee data changes that impact the monthly pay of senior executives, conducting thorough checks, and ensuring accuracy of inputs to guarantee timely and accurate payment. Additionally, they support the administration of benefits, including pension plans, savings funds, food coupons, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, part-time employment, maternity leave, advance payments, and more. Their dedication to accuracy and efficiency ensures that all employees receive their benefits and compensation in a timely manner.

What you should bring:


•    Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
•    2+ years of experience in SAP.
•    2+ years of experience in MX Payroll.
•    A certification in Payroll (CIPP qualified or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
•    A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

•    Advanced english level.
