What will I do on this role?
Ensure the manufacturing feasibility of the product, the implementation and qualification of the manufacturing process in accordance with the principles of SPS.
Bring your technical expertise across the organization (BU, Region,etc)
Select, validate, introduce and standardize new assembly technologies/processes.
What are the requirements for the position?
SMT Experience:
- Experience in PCBA Fabrication (Paste Printing, SPI, SMT Placement, SMT Reflow, AOI, PCB Cleaning, Conformal Coating, PCBA Depaneling)
- Familiarity with ICT Testing, Flying Probe Testing, Functional Testing with regards to PCBA handling, fixturing and induced stress
- Experience in SMT Components (working knowledge of component shapes, standard component packaging, component storage (moisture & ESD requirements), processing risks
- Experience with Electromechanical Assembly
- Working knowledge IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-6011/2012, IPC-7711/7721
- Working knowledge/experience of PCB/PCBA design files & file content/formats
- Working knowledge/experience with PCB/PCBA Viewer software
- Knowledge of ASME Drafting Stds & GD&T (ASME-Y14.5)
- Experience with Continuous Improvement (Kaizens/Poka-Yoke Design/5-S)
Educational Background & Professional Experience
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronics, electrical, industrial)
- 8 years manufacturing process with assembly, Fixture & Gauge experience in industrial product
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
