- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is desirable but not required.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices and employment laws within the mining industry.
- English proficient.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Strong understanding of mine site operations and associated challenges, including health and safety regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage work across all areas of the business and function successfully within a multi-national/cultural environment
- Previously demonstrated project management and analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions, and take action
