Introduction to role:
Join our dynamic team at AstraZeneca as a People Services Leave Advisor. This role offers the opportunity to work within well-established guidelines, with readily available higher level support. You will have the responsibility for administrative functions such as company benefits administration within a smaller geography. You may also be involved in project research under the direction of more senior colleagues. Although you will not be a Team Manager, you may assist in the development of others, especially new starters. Your remit will typically be local rather than Global.

Accountabilities:
You will support employees and managers throughout the Leave process. You will update leave records and timesheets in Workday for both salaried, exempt and hourly, non-exempt employees. You will act as an escalation point for the My HR Advisory Team for complicated leave queries received from employees, managers, HR Partners and Employee Relations Partners. You will also liaise with the leave and disability vendor to garner details on employee leave cases to bring resolution to complicated issues. 

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Human Resources experience required. Leave of absence proficiency preferred.
- Ability to use and navigate web-based software programs and Microsoft Office products.
- Workday and ServiceNow functional knowledge preferred.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Detail-oriented.
- Data management skills.
- Familiar with the leave FML (Family and Medical Leave Laws).
- Customer service oriented.
- Communication skills.
- Effectively working within the team.
