Performance Manager, Construction Projects - Mexico

    • Oversight of programs and projects in the retail & office sector for a large multinational finance company
    • Act as lead stakeholder manager responsible for building relationships with client and other partner suppliers on large client accounts
    • Develop a training and knowledge testing framework that creates teams of high performing individuals to serve the clients requirements by performing Cost Management, Project Management and Project Compliance roles
    • Work with Clients to understand their internal training requirements and integrate into a holistic training program working with other members of the Turner & Townsend team
    • Develop and implement performance measures (including schedule metrics, cost metrics, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)) for capital programs at supplier, portfolio, program, and project levels
    • Create processes and templates for schedule metrics, cost metrics, and other KPIs to capture performance data.
    • Develop report formats and processes (including senior leadership reports, reports to program managers and project dashboards) which accurately and efficiently capture data relating to schedule metrics, cost metrics, and other KPIs
    • Prepare and present on portfolio, program, project, and stakeholder performance and highlight future trends relating to project scheduling, cost, and other KPIs to achieve better capital project performance
    • Engage with vendor account managers, senior management team and stakeholders to confirm all KPIs between the parties to comply with the contract provisions and facilitate smooth running of the program
    • Organize and facilitate quarterly performance reviews of schedule, cost, & quality for projects with vendor partners
    • Work with client and partner vendors to create a collaborative culture to share feedback and lessons learned, and support Client with corrective measures when performance is below standard such as presenting issues and developing solutions to improve performance
    • Support change in project delivery policies and process through relevant training, and working with the Client and partner vendors to facilitate the most effective training methods for different groups and topics
    • Work as part of a team in developing and manage policies and procedures for selection of suppliers on key sourcing packages including selection of General Contractors, Project Managers , Cost Managers, Architects & Engineers
    • Work with procurement team to produce Master Service Agreement Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for key procurement activities at program level for Project Management, Cost Management, Architect, Engineer and all other construction industry services
      • 5-10 years experience delivering construction project management or cost management to have an understanding of construction processes and the roles of the different professionals / organizations in delivering projects.
      • A bachelor degree in Construction Science, Accounting, or Business Administration.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities in a calm, professional manner
      • Experience working in large teams of 5-25 people delivering consulting services in multiple client locations with multiple interactions with other non-Turner & Townsend parties.
      • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to foster healthy supportive working relationship throughout the team to make Turner & Townsend a great place to work.
      • Ability to work in a fast paced client environment liaising with multiple stakeholders from multiple organizations.
      • Be an organized individual able to manage multiple work tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly through negotiation with internal and external teams.
      • Candidate should have strong experience using Excel and other available software for reporting and analysis (Tableau and Power BI would be an advantage).
