We created the Intel Atom Processor (E-Core), a disruptive technology that enables a broad range of devices including entry PCs, smartphones, modems, 2 in 1 laptops, microservers, and other Internet of Things IoT devices.
You will be part of a team participating in the design of a future generation high performance Intel Atom microprocessors, also will drive physical implementation for a range of memory compilers, custom IPs, and partitions in support of CPU products.
The work is performed with broadly defined parameters and assignments are often complex and nonstandard in nature.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure all designs are following the best practices and are highly efficient.
- Independently assess and drive complex Physical Design assignments.
- Willingness to develop layout scripts macros and solutions is a plus.
In addition to the qualifications below the ideal candidate will also have the following:
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate should be pursuing a bachelor's or a master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM related field.
- Advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months Coursework, Internship and/or experience in any of the following areas:
- Familiarity with n VLSI and CMOS logic circuit design
Knowledge in Unix/Linux operating systems
