DirecciónAptiv is seeking for Financial Controller for our Nuevo Laredo Plant 3 who actively takes responsibility for the correctness, reliability, and comparability of the operative and key performance drivers.
My role:
- Actively involved in the weekly reporting process, assuring accuracy and action plans
- Managing annual budget, monthly forecast, and all the accounting reporting processes
- Coordinate physical inventories.
- Ensure plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with the Company's strategic targets and business plans.
- Reviews control procedures over accounting and financial activities as well as guides to ensure internal controls are maintained and that general ledger accounts are correctly used maintaining SOX & GAAP compliance.
- Prepares financial reporting, analyzing and reporting manufacturing variances and determining action plans to mitigate along with the Plant Staff
- Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices
- Fixed Assets Control
- CWIP
My background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finances, Accounting, or related field
- +5 years of experience in a similar position
- Outstanding knowledge of Cost accounting
- Proficient communication in English
- Excellent analytical skills Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong written and oral communication to all levels of management
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with plant leaders as well as finance leaders
- High level of integrity and compliance
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PPT
- Knowledge of SOX
- Knowledge of SAP
