Plant Engineering SupervisorDefine policies, procedures and processes to ensure the environmental compliance of the plant regarding local, international and corporate requirements. Lead and coordinate the facilities development of Daimler Buses Mexico according to the strategic development plan and in alignment with the funding budgets, timelines and quality requirements.

We are looking for: Plant Engineering Supervisor

In this position, you will be in charge of:

• Define, implement and follow up strategies, processes and operational controls to ensure compliance with the federal, local, international and corporate environmental regulations and standards.
• Prepare and receive environmental audits and follow up the implementation of corrective actions.
• Define and implement training plans to deploy the environmental awareness and preparation for environmental regulations compliance.
• Define, plan and implement industrial projects according to the plant strategic development plan.
• Prepare and present the official reports to comply with the federal & local regulations to operate the plant.
• Actuar siempre en estricto apego con las regulaciones vigentes locales e internacionales aplicables, tales como la Ley de Prácticas Corruptas en el Extranjero (FCPA), el Código de Conducta de Daimler Truck, así como cualquier otra política y procedimiento establecido para Daimler Truck.

Training: Bachelor degree in Engineering with focus in: Industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.

Specific knowledge: AudtoCAD, MS Project, SAP, Microsoft Office.

Experience: Proven experience in environmental affairs and environmental legislation, ISO 14001 auditor experience and project management.

Language: English Business Fluent.

Competencies: Integrity, results orientation, effective communication, problem solving and decision making, conflict resolution, negotiation, proactivity, leadership.

Required efforts: Availability to travel.
