The Opportunity

The ETS Quality Assurance Analyst and & Power Platform Specialist will be the person responsible for maintaining our Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI solutions designed for Enterprise Testing Services (ETS). He/She will be responsible for enhancing and improving the solutions as well as creating new solutions required to automate and facilitate UX.

Along with the maintenance and development of Power Platform solutions, this role will also support the ETS team on reviewing and validating different Testing deliverables from the different projects throughout the project lifecycle. He/she will ensure that the deliverables meet the quality expectations, PepsiCo guidelines and standards according to the project methodology.

Your Impact.

As Power Platform Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:

• Validate that all Power Platform solutions for Enterprise Testing Services team are working as expected daily.
• Enhance and/or maintain the existing Power Platform solutions to ensure the information displayed or used is accurate and that there are no defects or flaws in the solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Understand business difficulties to provide solutions by applying problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Develop new Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Shell) as needed to automate or enhance existing manual solutions to provide a better User experience.
• Use various connectors to connect disparate systems to Power Platform applications.
• Automate workflows and business processes.
• Design Model-Driven/Canvas PowerApps that support KPI's for ETS
• Collaborate and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Domain experts to gain operational insights to perform the necessary enhancements.
• Support the different users for the Power Apps and Power Platform Solutions to provide guidance, best practices or how to validate the information needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends.
• Train/Educate ETS Members on Power Platform changes and new functionality.
• Engage with new ideas/projects and provide all relevant information about Quality Assurance activities, practices, standards and guidelines, along with quality assurance costs for projects.
• Provide Quality Assurance and support for testing deliverables (Master Test Strategy, Test Plans, PLM Light, Test Summary Reports, etc.) and activities for ongoing projects by reviewing, validating and providing feedback for all testing deliverables created by projects to ensure best quality on deliverables and policy compliance.
• Provide training to project testers on ADO usage for testing and evidence storage.
• Demand Management and Engagement for projects, including dashboard compliance validation.
• Keep track of all the activities and deliverables reviewed for the different projects to create reports and dashboards.
• Create different Power BI dashboards for the different Power Platform solutions that can help the ETS team to identify opportunities and provide insights.

Other activities to be performed related to the ETS organization include:

• Provide prompt feedback on dashboard enhancement and proposal of new or updated dashboards/metrics.
• Innovate on solutions and automation opportunities for the ETS team.

Who Are We Looking For?  

Experience

• 2+ years of experience defining, building, releasing, and evangelizing Power BI dashboards or equivalent reporting platforms such as Tableau.
• Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
• Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users.
• Solid understanding of relational database technologies.
• Good knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols.
• Desirable SAFe Agile Knowledge
• Intermediate English language proficiency.
• Preferred but not mandatory
• Experience on Azure DevOps and ADO Test Plan tool for Test Management
• SAFe Agile Certification
• Certifications on Power Platforms (e.g. Power Platform Developer Associate, Power Platform App Maker Associate)
