Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Coordinate & support the strategy execution to implement efficiency and automated processes, activities & controls across PMF Controllership,  this transformation needs to be supported by new technologies and create value from data through the application of methods such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, machine learning and data visualization to ease decision-making.

To achieve these objectives, this role coordinates PMF Controllership predictive modelling agenda, ensure its correct ROI, development, implementation and maintenance, must be connected with new trends, benchmarking with other companies and think out of the box to visualize the new management model for Controllership.

This role should be in constant communication with the extended Controllership teams to identify opportunities and efficiencies in manual controls, solving problems through data and machine learning.

Finally, these initiatives, ideas and projects, must be sustainable in the time and achievables to support Controllership Vision and main objectives, and also scalable to LATAM and other sectors.

Your Impact

As a Predictive Analysis and Transformation Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Define, design, develop and implement statistical and mathematic models to continue the predictive & machine learning projects in alignment with the business needs and maintaining communication with Directors and VPs to present business cases
  • Define and guide the Controllership data/Predictive Analysis strategy, execute the advanced analytics agenda across control processes discovering new business opportunities delivering strategic avenues and prioritize control resources
  • Serve as liaison between the business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance
  • Evaluate the need for analytics, assess the problems to be solved and what internal or external data sources to use or acquire. Specify and apply appropriate mathematical, statistical, predictive modelling or machine-learning techniques to analyze data, generate insights, create value and support decision making
  • Advice and share advanced analytics models and best practices within PepsiCo Regions (LATAM & Global) to leverage and build Advanced Analytics capability
  • Develop other technological solution, keep updated in new trends
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Systems engineering or related

Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience in statistical models development (Probabilistic graphical models, machine learning, correlating data). Database management and programming capabilities.  Passion for transformation and technology.
  • Advanced English
  • Proficient in communication to all levels.
  • Proficient negotiation skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of database administration
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
  • Solid understanding of machine learning
  • Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques
  • Statistical Analysis and predictive modeling
  • Good knowledge of Python and PowerBi
  • Nice to have experience in SQL, R and Matlab
