The Role Reporting to the Solution Consulting Director, based in Brazil or México, candidate will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle, as well as helping to ensure customer satisfaction. Candidate will be an essential part of the sales organization at AspenTech and a key player in the development of the pre-sales activities in Formation Evaluation and Petrophysics. Your Impact Provide advanced technical support and consulting in Paradigm formation evaluation software, Aspen Geolog.
Prepare and propose workflows for reservoir characterization and petrophysical analysis.
Search, uncover, understand and analyze client/prospect needs and requirements to grow or penetrate accounts.
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations on AspeTech SSE applications suite.
Present workflows integrating Aspen Geolog with other software in the AspenTech suite.
Conduct pilot projects involving the tools provided in Aspen Geolog, highlighting our differentiators compared with equivalent solutions in the market.
Co-develop sales proposals together with the sales team.
Create and perform advanced formation evaluation workflows through Paradigm software.
Run advance demonstrations and presentations on Aspen Geolog at customer sites and trade shows.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend proof of concept/evaluation opportunities.
Develop relationships with users through personal contact and user group meetings.
Prepare and provide input for technical sessions.
Communicate with product managers and developers on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback.
Training - Ensure consistent high-quality delivery of basic and advance training on formation evaluation Aspen Geolog modules.
Support - Perform troubleshooting of client issues. Own issue until escalated appropriately and/or resolved with client satisfaction. Demonstrate proficiency with all Support procedures & the internal tracking and reporting systems like Right Now
Professional Development - Continue to actively develop own technical expertise within the Formation Evaluation and Petrophysics suite. Actively seek personal development of non-technical competencies through assignments & formal training.
Technical Reporting - Complete & submit Consultant Activity Reports after each project on a timely basis.
Provide feedback to our R&D and Product Management groups to contribute to our ongoing development and evolution of the industry's best geoscience solution.
Software Consulting – Provide consultancy services to execute tasks and deliver products related to the formation evaluation and petrophysics.
Write paper in local event showing value of AspenTech SSE technologies.
What You'll Need Holder of a Bs degree in Aspen Geology or Bs degree in Petroleum, Ms plus with more than 15 years of relevant experience.
Advance knowledge in formation evaluation and reservoir characterization.
Deep experience with petrophysical analysis and characterization of carbonates reservoirs, unconventional reservoirs and tight sand reservoirs.
Experience with processing and analysis of special well data, such as borehole image logs, special core analysis, magnetic resonance and full waveform sonic.
Capable of conducting high quality basic & advanced classroom training on formation evaluation workflows and modules incorporated in Aspen Geolog.
Background in working across discipline to ensure a better interpretation of the data through integrated workflows.
Experience with data management and quality control.
Proficiency with petrophysical analysis applications, Aspen Geolog application preferred.
Knowledge of Linux and windows operating systems.
Excelled technical communication skills in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Good presentation skills.
Proactive, open to takes initiative.
Work independently or as part of a team when required / needed.
Collaborative, willing to mentor young professionals.
Able to interact/work with other departments and colleagues from other domains
