1. Title:
Production Planner / SVSBDP Filtration (Services / Beneficiation and Dewatering Products – Filtration)
2. Job Statement: The position assures the leadership of planning and inventory control, coordination of the process and activities carried out in the production area, maintaining the production planning, and optimizing the resources in a schedule to ensure the fulfillment of order delivery to the end customer or internal customers.
3. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and capacity requirements using different tools (i.e., SAP planning tables, Gantt chart, and MS Office tools) to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency, collaborate whit operations, and procurement teams to align production plans whit demand forecast and inventory levels. • Lead daily operations meetings, involving all supply chain areas (procurement, operations, engineering, etc.,) according to the management system.
  • Coordinate and organize special meetings when required to manage rush cases, breakdown orders, whit the required areas around the supply chain.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels by analyzing sales trends, production capacity, and lead times.
  • Keep updated the planning tools to allow the reports to run (KPI’s). Production backlog, backlog hours, maintain the work centers and capabilities setup in SAP to achieve the objectives.
  • Manage the coordination of production according to the order demands (i.e., stock materials, planned orders, production orders and others).
  • Confirmation of productions dates and coordination of the process according to the different scenarios of the orders (ETO engineer to order, MTO make to order, MTS make to stock).
  • Have a complete view and communication from mold assembly area to request and use the inventory information from them for the production planning and identify critical mold parts, productivity solutions and investments.
  • Run proper reports to analyze the production planning schedule, strategic planning lead times, inventory level, data base maintenance and constant update of procedures of the latest management system.
  • Collaborate with sales/distribution centers and product line teams to gather date and inputs for accurate demand forecasting.
  • Create and manage production schedules to ensure on time delivery and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components and finished goods.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s) such as production output, on time delivery, inventory turnover, and inventory value.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management of production and inventory performance. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in production planning and inventory control.
  • Implement best practices, lean methodologies, and automation tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Adjust the production schedule according whit reality and request actions to align the targets.
  • Review in a monthly basis the breakdowns for maintenance, training etc., to don’t affect the productivity and the targets.

5. Travel Requirements:
Not frequently travel is needed, maybe one or two times per year. (valid passport must be had)
6. Qualifications & Experience:
  • Engineering bachelor's degree or master’s degree (mathematical physicist or related)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in production planning and manufacturing.
  • Experience working with machining and presses equipment. • Knowledge in manufacturing processes, tooling inventory and product design specifications.
  • Have knowledge of SAP in the PMM module is an advantage.
7. Skills and Abilities:
  • Good understanding of writing and verbal English languages. • A good level of computer skills in essential – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SAP and others.
  • Understanding the customer needs (internal and external)
  • Must be open minded and ready to share experience and knowledge with others.
  • Experience understands technical drawings.
  • Position requires support expertise in good customer relation skills, ability to work within a team environment, creativity, innovation, and ability to understand the business.
  • Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, cooperation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces.
