As a member of Project Management Team, you will be responsible to manage and coordinate Construction and Commissioning activities and processes according to project’s within scope, on time, and to budget. Promote project opportunities and cost optimization initiatives within his area of responsibility.
Will be responsible for the erection of projects on time, on budget and with high quality and satisfaction of the Owner. Will outlines the M&E Erection strategy based on the business and global C&C Management input, maintain required Headcount and ensure the implementation of processes, procedures, coaching and trainings.
You will represent M&E Erection activities to internal as well as to external stakeholders such as Clients or Subcontractors. make sure the Work Instructions defined in the Quality Process are well respected by his direct reports and corresponding groups.

Your Role:

  • Identify Construction responsibilities as per tendered position.

  • Review and establish scope, budget, and risk & opportunities the contract.

  • Coordinate and lead handover process from Tendering to Construction reviewing Constructions scope and budget including risk and opportunities.

  • Initially prepare and arrange to take possession of the site infrastructure. Develop and plan temporary and permanent site infrastructure RFQ file, receive offer and negotiate and place PO.

  • Represent the site team in actions related to home office.

  • Monitor and report on regular basis the overall construction execution, cost forecast and planning. Develop and implement mitigation plans in conjunction with the Site Manager and Construction department heads.

  • Ensure required resources are appointed and delegated in a timely and legal manner. prepare project guideline and implement, prepare PRM and load manpower on site.

  • Coordinate subcontracts (M&E contract, infrastructure, turnkey vender ). Develop RFQ file, receive offer, negotiate and place PO within time period.

  • Allocate, manage and coordinate Non-Budgeted Costs (NBC) for proper cost reporting.

  • Guarantee that all Construction related projects and their conditions are executed according to contract requirements.

  • Provide timely, accurate, reliable and actual information to the Project Director and to the Construction management, in conjunction with the Site Manager. Report any discrepancies on site.

  • Coordinate Construction disciplines for a proper accomplishment of project scope.

  • Provide structure feedback with experiences and lessons learned in the duration and closure of the site

  • Procurement of material for site from head office for site support.

Basic Qualifications(requirements):

  • University degree (comparable with bachelor or master) in technical and managerial field

  • 10 years’ experience in construction site with Knowledge and experience Power Plant of capacity 210/300/600/660 MW or more & Turbine Island process & system. Experience in TG piping will be added advantage.

  • Excellent management skills

  • Excellent capabilities in the explanation of complex technical and working processes

  • Strong intercultural skills and abilities to perform within international business environment

  • Strong negotiation skills

Desired Qualifications (Nice to have):

  • Legal knowledge in contract management

  • Problem solving methodology like 8D or equivalent

  • Preferably energy sector experience and project management
