You will be part of Logistics team that belongs to North America Region. By joining our team you’ll have the opportunity to work with different cultures and different challenges in an excellent job environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Specialized coordination and follow-up of over-dimension shipments.
  • Attend kick-off meetings with project managers and customers.
  • Continuously look for cost-saving opportunities with third parties (transport and warehousing) i.e. rate negotiation
  • Consistently provide insights and creative solutions.
  • Manage the necessary documentation and forms for the lawful execution of all import activities.
  • Knowledge of customs, pedimento revision, Mexican NOM's, automatic notifications for steel by VUCEM.
  • Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes.
  • Oversized transport quotes and advisory for internal clients.
  • Ensuring delivery deadlines and revenue plans are achieved.

What you bring:

  • 4 years of proven experience in import/export compliance activities
  • Capital/Aftermarket/ supply from EU/Mexico/US/ handle all the customs regulations; MUST have at least 3-5 years in customs experience
  • Experience as a customs broker preferred
  • Desirable knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle) and/or (SAP)
  • Knowledge about annex 22
  • Positive attitude, assertiveness, strong negotiation, and strong execution skills
  • Interacts and collaborates within and outside of the department
  • Individual should possess an excellent sense of urgency, be proactive, customer-driven, and motivated
