As a Quality Supervisor, you will ensure that the products comply with quality and safety standards. To ensure products and processes are within control, you´ll follow defined plans as required to examine the products by sample, record the controls carried out and prepare the respective results reports. What you will do
- Supervise quality control inspectors
- Maintenance of the quality management system to ensure compliance with policies, as well as customer satisfaction through supervision.
- Carry out inspections, tests, measurements of materials, products and installations to verify if they meet the required specifications.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and applicable regulations, as well as the parameters established in the quality management system adopted by the company.
- Rate those products that have details and what is the reason for the failure.
- Propose improvement actions regarding work methodologies and compensation of workload among workers.
- Review customer requirements and ensure that the product meets what is required.
- Supervise that production processes comply with established quality standards.
- Monitor production operations that comply with quality standards.
- Collect relevant data for the preparation of statistical reports.
- Use quality tools, in addition to ensuring that personnel comply with the quality standards required in each of their processes.
- Always conduct yourself consistent with company standards during work hours or when acting as a company representative.
- A logical-methodical approach to work.
- Be precise when taking measurements and when recording different figures.
- Extensive applied knowledge of computer science to analyze, store and present test results on a computer.
- Oral and written communication skills to transmit, present and write reports.
- Ability for interpersonal relationships, to work as a team.
- Technical training with intermediate level knowledge in the medical field.
- Be a good observer to be quality analysts.
