YOUR ROLE

Using your expertise to monitor Safety Health Environment & Quality standards in all areas of KNGD and provide on-going support to the operational team and the greater Team Leidos to improve the standards of the operation and achieve defined levels of compliance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure operational compliance to Health & Safety processes in order to meet National and International standards, legislation and contractual requirements.
• Support operations to maintain targets and achieve KPI's and KN procedural requirements agreed with KNGD including certification to the BS EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
• Report performance against targets to the QSHE Management Team
• Formulate and assist in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to the Compliance requirements.
• Complete Internal Audit Process including safety tours, in order to satisfy the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and KN Global Processes. In addition provide support to external audits
• Identify and develop corrective actions from internal and external audits and support Operations in the implementation of those corrective actions.
• Support KNGD customers in QSHE matters and processes, relevant to KNGD sites ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customer specifications.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• IOSH Managing Safety (required)
• NEBOSH NGC (desirable) or willing to train.
• Audit Experience (required) - ISO Standards 9001; 14001 & 45001 preferable. Willing to qualify as Lead Auditor
• Integrated Management System Experience
• Demonstrable experience of relationship management
• Logistics, Aviation, MOD, Automotive or similar industry experience
• Experience within a customer focused environment
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Diplomatic and sensitive when needed
