Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Regional Lean Expert in our Apodaca Monterrey 4  location. This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing site that strives to be on the leading edge of technology to drive continuous improvement

What do you get to do in this position?

• Responsible for process improvement projects for a given scope.
  Areas of expertise: SPS, process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, cost analysis, performance etc...). Strongly contributing to / leading continuous improvement actions for the scope. 

• Responsible for process development & optimization needs at local, regional or global scale. Strong contribution to elaboration and deployment of standards & continuous improvement processes
• Manufacturing Management. Ability to optimize manufacturing resources and utilize real time shopfloor management (people, animation, system to meet customer demand and its variation in accordance with the SPS principles.
• Manufacturing Supply Chain. Ability to identify, understand and optimize E2E flows (from order to customers or from Supplier to customer) through system settings and capacity management to meet customer demand in accordance with SPS principles.
• Manufacturing Operational Performance. Ability to drive decision making through manufacturing task execution, Performance KPI's monitoring in order to meet expected levels of Safety, Quality, Service level and Efficiency.
• Manufacturing Diagnostic. Ability to identify, analyze and implement improvements to the technical limit of our manufacturing process.
• Maintenance Performance. Ability to align maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facility with safety, manufacturing, and customer demand.
• Manufacturing Process Design. Ability to design and implement manufacturing processes for new offers allowing the best operational performance in safety and environment, quality, service, costs and capital engaged.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
• +5 years proven experience working in Project Management and SPS and Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results via Influence and great communications skills
• Skills on root cause analysis and problem solving methologies like SIX SIGMA, 8D, PFMEA/AMEF
• Seeks solutions beyond his/her own frame of reference
• Availability to travel Internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa) 
• Bilingual in English/Spanish – business proficient (written and oral)
