The purpose of this position is to support on the accounting, integrity and data governance of LATAM Prime Costs to the Sr LATAM PRIME Manger. It includes maintaining the accuracy of the financials, period closing analysis, recipe changes valuation, innovation costing analysis, financial planning & analysis reports, and Do It Best, LCC and inventory reporting. This position has as well, the responsibility to support audit for any LATAM PRIME requirement, Hedge and Inventory Revaluation (FIFO) analysis, and needs to be a key and valuable support partner to the Commercial and R&D LATAM Team.
What are we looking for?
Education: University Degree/ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
Experience3 to 5 years of Accounting or Financial Planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing/costing environment.
Requirements:
• P&L knowledge.
• SAP Desirable
• COGS accounting/knowledge.
• Supply Chain and manufacturing industrial process desirable
• Ability to formulate and implement solutions to day to day issues with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, customer service focused
• Stakeholder management
• Languages: fluent English mandatory
What will be your key responsibilities?
• Provide detailed Prime Costs forecasts data for S&OP+ LATAM (Regional and Unit level) to support decision-making and Operating Plan process on a monthly basis, by working closely with the Commercial and R&D functions.
• Coordinate the definition of annual standard costs for PPV and recipes.
• LATAM Supply Finance organizational change management: this role will be the key support position to implement ONE LATAM PRIME standardization for Local Step 3 and Business Review, aligning deliveries / time and expectations/trade offs per BU. As well, pre-close COGS visibility across LATAM.
• Accurate reporting, analysis and interpretation of the units Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and recipe costs variances. This includes working with the Commercial/R&D groups to explain their results and providing them with the necessary information to make their purchasing and recipe development decisions. Also includes managing any systems/processes required to provide depth explanations of variances, costs allocations and accruals.
