Job Summary

Regional Sales Manager, Mexico accounts for sales of Axxon Mycronic dispensing and conformal coating systems. This role searches for new projects and develops relationships with customers in the region. Regional Sales- Mexico interacts with customers, distributors, and agents as well as Operations, Product Management, Sales Back Office, Applications and Sales within other Regions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies and nurtures sales opportunities
  • Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets
  • Presents quotes and negotiation with potential clients
  • Assists with the planning of sales exhibits, attends trade shows, participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs as needed (corporate based)
  • Develops and implements new methods of attaining new accounts
  • Travels weekly throughout the territory and other areas (national and international) to meet with customers to sell, answer technical questions, identify, and resolve any issues
  • Demonstrates organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Works closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Manager to ensure mutual success
  • Maintains relationships and facilitates problem solving of any issues with existing customers.
  • Develops and maintains a constant dialogue with parent company to keep abreast of current and upcoming projects
  • Reviews accounts on a consistent basis
  • Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers and proactively communicates relevant information
  • Maintains current working knowledge of competitive activity in market
  • Responsible for working collaboratively with others (internally and externally) to achieve common objects, goals, and results
  • Other duties as assigned including but not limited to the performance of functions related to the sales processes of the company
  • Respects safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five years of Sales (or Field Sales) and/or Customer Service in a business-to-business environment
  • Experience with using or selling of competitive systems
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Experience with technology sales
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
  • Experience managing large territories and diverse product offerings and a demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends, association needs and possible application to real world projects
  • Experience working with MS Office programs

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Standard office environment. Significant computer work should be expected.
