Empowering people, creating technology. Responsibilities:

Management of suppliers including regional or global selection, contract & cost negotiation, leveraging supplier R&D capabilities, delivery and quality issue resolution, quarterly business reviews, etc.

Depending on the suppliers and their portfolio, develop and implement strategies for determining and best utilizing the most appropriate set of suppliers.

Act as the BAA representative in the global SCM Purchasing strategy under consideration of the local and regional requirements concerning price, lead time and quality level to the customers.

Drive and project manage Supply Chain subsidiary teams to ensure on-time manage their supply base in accordance with the established guidelines and defined standard performance indicators defined in coordination with SC & Purchasing CF.

Proactively identify and execute cost reduction initiatives to ensure product cost competitiveness in a global Supply Chain incl. consideration of best cost countries.

Responsible for creating an Americas Logistics Vision by defining the strategic direction of all Supply Chain operations including transportation and ensuring executional success in coordination with the global SCM.

Together with the local Operations Leaders and the local SCM Teams, develop and implement strategies to minimize the cost of inventory and working capital.

Plan and execute a consumption or demand driven inventory strategy to maintain the proper inventory levels for Production and Service Units of the BAA according with the SC Director strategy.

Develop tools in cross functional teams (Sales, Operations) to manage the risk of inventory devaluation through reserves and monitor inventory turns together with the Operations and Sales teams in the region.

Provide business process expertise in the Procurement and SC area to the different Americas subsidiaries to ensure that business process changes do not negatively affect the Americas targets and vision.

Partner with the local business process owners to drive the Change Management in the different local subsidiaries resulting from those business processes that need to be changed in order to align with the EagleBurgmann Global SCM strategy for Inventory processes.

Fully understand and master all end-to-end, cross-functional and integrated SC and Purchasing processes in the region.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.

10 years job specific work experience in a Logistics role with demonstrated professional growth and achievement in Procurement and Inventory Management.

Prior work experiences in a manufacturing organization of comparable size, business diversity, scope and complexity a plus.

Minimum of 5 years experience working with the material management functionality in SAP (Purchasing, Inventory, Production Planning, Production, Repairs, Sales, Distribution, Shipping and Quality).

Interpretation of the rules applicable to this position.

Willingness to travel 30%, up to 50% occasionally.

Bilingual English / Spanish.

Availability to travel (Valid VISA and Passport).
