Essential Functions Manage the sales effort for the district including a team of inside and outside salespeople. Develop and maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers. Develop sales data used to plan, budget and forecast sales targets for the division. Initiate and conduct profitability reviews for customers, markets and industries. Direct the activities of Inside and Outside Sales Representatives. Communicate to the organization significant developments with customers, markets or industries. Prepare, Organization and Lead planned business review meetings with customers. Assure that we retain business that is profitable, sustainable and collectable. Review all plant expenses. Manage the business to maximize profits. Continually search for new and innovative ways to increase volumes and profits. Overall responsibility of warehouse and office personnel. Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and customer service. Observe all safety rules and enforces necessary personal protective equipment requirements. Ensure proper training is maintained in all departments. Review systems with appropriate managers to provide effectiveness in all departments. Encourage subordinates to achieve their full potential through effective communication, leadership, coaching and training. Execute initiatives necessary to accomplish company strategic goals. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement while supporting the companys core values. Ensure all personnelemployees receive performance reviews at the appropriate times. Frequent coordination with other Combined Metals Companies supervisorsmanagers Travel is required as needed to accomplish goals. Skills and Abilities Proficient skill level for Microsoft Office. Management skills to include driving goal accomplishment, promoting teamwork, employee growth and development, performance management and accountability. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
