Do you want to be part of a company that is changing the way software is developed and used?In Business Technology organization, as a Salesforce Developer in Software Engineering role you are accountable for developing on Salesforce platform to enable different product lines that support business capabilities. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) the Software Engineer will be the primary technical SME in their product line and will work in partnership with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Systems Analysts, business partners, and other technology teams. Daily activities will include but are not limited to, resolving technical and functional applications issues, performing trend analysis and identifying enhancements to reduce support requests, and partnering with product and operational teams to improve the design of new & existing functionality. The successful candidate must be agile and able to lead multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
Develops application code through the use of established methods that meets acceptance criteria
Reviews and collaborates with Architects on designs
Develops technical designs with any vital automation strategies
Collaborates with Product Owner and Business Analyst to clarify functionality in stories
Collaborates with SMEs as vital to obtain guidance for development
Develops stories, data mappings, test cases, and success criteria which inform development
Understands and can build/deploy code through approved channels
Tests application code through the use of established methods, these tests should all be automated and include unit tests, integrations tests, functional tests, acceptance tests, performance tests, and smoke tests
Committed to and responsible for the iteration goals
Adhere to secure coding practices.
Adhere to Internal Business Technology Organizational standards
Should understand and apply principles of accessibility for all product releases
Attend and understand the functions of the various iteration (Agile) ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning, grooming and retrospectives
Required Skills:
6-8 years previous Salesforce application development or support with a minimum 500-seat environment handling all aspects of CRM, case management, and platform maintenance
4+ years of experience programming or supporting Triggers, Apex Code, and Visualforce Pages
2+ years in LWC development.
1+ years in Slack Development.
Experienced knowledge of standard processes regarding Salesforce implementations, including design patterns, release management, deployment strategies, and testing standard methodologies
Demonstrated ability to handle overall business initiative or several components of a large, sophisticated project with direct experience in Agile and Scrum;
Ability to engage with self-awareness as required to avoid conflicts with customers based on personality differences and to make suggestions in a manner that is more likely to result in the desired outcome
Good project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups
Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit including VSCode, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, and data migration tools like data loader, workbench, etc.,
Excellent proficiency in Salesforce's Web Services, APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and security model
Expert knowledge with Lightning Experience, Analytics, App Builder, Flows, Process Builders, and components
Must be a self-starter and Salesforce trailblazer who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment
Strong teammate or equivalent experience with a service-oriented attitude and customer focus
Familiarity with SOX protocols, Change Management, and Release Management guiding principles and processes
Experience with database concepts and data modeling capabilities
Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I Certifications are a must to be considered for this position.
Desired Skills:
Slack Certifications
Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Certification
Salesforce Domain Certifications
Git & Jenkins experience
Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (JS)
Other Salesforce product certifications like Mulesoft, Data Cloud are good to have.
