Dirección Infosys Consulting is seeking SAP Supply Chain professionals with extensive experience in Warehouse and Logistics processes and looking for long-term growth and career-enhancing opportunities leveraging SAP to solve our customer’s most challenging issues.The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of SAP project experience from the project preparation phase through the deploy and run phases. The candidate should have a strong business and SAP background and be experienced in interfacing with client executives, business, and IT in consultative project engagements. About the Role :
As a Principal , you will contribute to different phases of an engagement including client identification, launch, delivery, and closure; help establish client relationships, lead and contribute in conceptualizing innovative solutions based on anticipated needs of the industry; participate in and contribute to various team-level, practice-level and organizational-level initiatives; lead and act as SMEs in sale pursuits with the objective of ensuring the highest level of engagement management within the guidelines and policies of Infosys Consulting. Responsibilities:
- Lead the warehousing functional group for a site and understands the integration points with other functional groups .
- Participate in knowledge transition from the plant Implementation team to understand plant-specific requirements and solutions, and plant personnel roles and training needs .
- Lead the overall skills assessment related to warehousing, training document review, and supplementary job aid creation that may be needed for a site .
- Assist in the facilitation of UAT testing at the site .
- Responsible for understanding the local data and how it needs to transform to map to the client’s standards .
- Assist on-site during physical inventory & cutover activities to ensure data is accurate and with inventory reconciliation & re-counts .
- Onsite for the centrally located team responsible for user support post-go-live, as well as defect reporting and working with the build team on defect resolution .
- 1:1 & group support during stabilization .
- Provide on-call support as needed .
- Identify Process and technical gaps.
- Able to effectively communicate with Clients and Business related to Requirements and WRICEFs.
Responsibilities include:
Project Execution
- Conduct engagement launch activities when leading the team.
- Participate and contribute towards project launch activities when working as individual contributor as part of a large team.
- Understand client context, assess team structure, and roles and responsibilities of team members to prepare for project execution.
- Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps.
- Conduct requirements workshops with a team of global IT professional & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives w/associated metrics.
- Solution and document functional specifications.
- Own and Write WRICEFS and Functional Specifications.
- Define, execute, and support testing of the solution.
- Perform knowledge transfer to client and supporting organizations throughout all phases of the project.
- Test Execution and defect resolution.
- Coach and develop team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years of SAP Experience.
- Excellent customer service with ability to manage customer expectation.
- Proven ability to set priorities across multiple projects and drive for results.
- Work effectively with internal and external clients, third party vendors, and senior management in accomplishing project objectives.
- At least 2 full lifecycle implementations (all phases) of a package implementation lifecycle.
- Experience with Package Implementation Methodology and key deliverables.
- Is willing to travel 4 days a week within the United States, México, and LATAM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of SAP MM Warehouse Management and EWM.
- At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of a package implementation lifecycle with EWM.
- Team Lead and key contributor in Process Streams / Functional Areas.
- In-depth knowledge of Package Implementation Methodology and key deliverables.
- SAP Experience in Consumer goods and Manufacturing industries.
- MBA or other applicable post-graduate degree.
- Manufacturing integration - Staging to shopfloor; Use of PSA and Control cycles; Return and Receipt from Shop floor; Integration with Planning Tool.
- Internal Warehouse operations - Cycle Count/Physical Inventory; Inventory Adjustments; Complex; Internal Warehouse replenishment strategies; Good understanding of Serialized and Batch management; Inventory and its integrations with EWM.
- Experience in Outbound Warehouse operations - Wave Picking and Picking strategies; Value added services in Staging; Picking, Packing and HU Management; Integrations with EWM in outbound process and GTS.
