Could you be the full-time onsite Schematics & Apparatus Engineering in Sahagun, HID, MX we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive harness design expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll guarantee the harnesses' design and routing integration within various products such as traction systems, electrical cubicles, power modules, and switchgear, ensuring adherence to design rules, product feasibility, norms, and the Alstom development process. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Advanced Industrialization, Harness Designers, EMC, and Maintainability), manage activities with a retro-planning approach, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Guaranteeing the application of electrical and schematic métier rules considering REX, norms, and contract requirements in the deliverables,

  • Integrating linked métier requirements such as Advanced Industrialization, Harness designer, EMC, and Maintainability,

  • Creating the 3D model (routing) of each harness by collaborating with mechanical designers, manufacturing engineering, and S&A designers,

  • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or Solidworks,

  • Being responsible for detailed electrical harness design deliverables including BoM kits, formboards, BoM in ERP & DMA, wiring lists, Plug Maps, instruction sheets, jig & tools lists, etc.

  • Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering,

  • Experience or understanding of harness design and routing integration in various products,

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or Solidworks,

  • Skill in detailed electrical harness design including BoM, formboards, and wiring lists,

  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish both written and spoken.
