Role Overview:EXL provides consulting and analytics support to fortune 500 companies across multiple industry domains. For this role, you will be supporting the Retail & Media clients in US, with strategic analytics and enabling them to use data for making business decisions. Some of your responsibilities include –Take stakeholder needs into consideration, bridging methodology and data into meaningful strategy from your analyses.Be involved in methodology design, problem structuring and delivery of the analytical solutionTo be a communicator who crafts impactful data narratives that inform business decisions.Work with large big data sources (Hadoop Big Data Ecosystem; Leveraging Python / Pyspark), focusing on efficient data extraction from large databases, data manipulation and insight generationSummarize analysis and create presentations that represent the findings / outcomes of the data effectively in concise, understandable termsContribute to the team through mentorship, technical methods, improvements in how we work QualificationsMasters or Bachelor's degree in Data analytics, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics or related analytics field from top-tier universities, preferably with strong record of achievementand an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach 5+ years of experience with analytical skillsComfortable writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval & transformation. Experience with Big Query is a PlusProficient in Python / PysparkExcellent Communication and interpersonal skills, keen intellectual curiosity, strong attention to detail and sense of drive.
