At D. Catcher, we have an opening for a Sr Buyer to join a global manufacturing company.

Role Description

• Responsible for managing procurement activities for the company, such as sourcing, negotiating, purchasing materials, delivery, and services.
• Maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring procurement processes are compliant with company policies and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of market trends, products, and industry regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and meet customer needs
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Background in the metal mechanics or automotive industry is a plus
• Excellent negotiation skills (raw materials, mainly steel)
• Presence and gravitas to represent the company with foreign suppliers
• International Trade
• Proficiency in data analysis and supplier management
• Experience with SAP or ERP
• Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English
