N-iX is looking for a Senior Database Administrator who can become a part of our team.
Responsibilities:
- General database support and tuning
- Always-on emergency support - around-the-clock availability to ensure problems are resolved as quickly as possible
- Incident management and root cause analysis services
- Performance analysis, tuning, training, optimization
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years in Database Administrator role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and expertise in database management.
- Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL programming and database query languages.
- Extensive experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring efficient and accurate data integration and workflow management.
- Solid background in implementing data backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical information and ensure business continuity.
- A strong understanding of, and experience in, ensuring database security practices, compliance with data protection regulations, and adherence to industry standards for data governance.
- Demonstrated analytical abilities in conducting thorough data analysis, maintaining high-standard data quality management, and effectively optimizing database queries for improved performance.
- Skills in generating insightful reports, presenting complex data clearly, and supporting business decisions through accurate data interpretation and visualization.
