Senior ManagerSupply Chain Infrastructure Planning– Mexico

Position Overview:

As our new Senior ManagerSupply Chain Infrastructure Planning, you will assess Supply Chain infrastructure capacity needs, predict constraints, and devise risk mitigation strategies to any threat that keeps the OU of reaching our volume growth targets and ambitions, ensuring clear communication of these plans to all key stakeholders. Additionally, you will shape investment strategies by providing precise CapEx forecasts for infrastructure projects, influencing stakeholder decisions on investments that support future capacity needs in line with business and technology roadmaps, with a focus on financial analysis to improve profitability. Network Design and System Collaboration initiatives will also be in the working scenarios, considering Mexico is a multi-bottler country with many Infrastructure possibilities.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Work Focus

  • Long-term capacity planning: developing capacity plans and strategies for the long-term. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Finance, Bottlers and Supply Chain to align capacity plans with business objectives. Identifying potential constraints and developing contingency plans to mitigate volume risks. Discuss LRP plans with the main Bottlers to ensure business vision and to identify possible gaps of capacity alignment.
  • Scenarios and Open Infrastructure approach: capacity and demand scenarios to work together with the Business and the Bottlers and bring disruptive ideas from our Open Infrastructure solutions, for short-term and long-term capacity needs, such as Bottler collaboration, Co-packers, JVs, etc.
  • Investment: developing CapEx estimations for infrastructure-related projects. Influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure investments in new equipment, lines, facilities, or technology that supports future capacity needs aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps. Analyzing the financial implications of capacity decisions and providing recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Optimization: leading cross-functional teams to optimize the use of infrastructure resources and improve Supply Chain performance. Analyzing data and metrics to identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements and cost savings.
  • Technology management: managing relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (vendors) involved in Supply Chain Infrastructure projects to ensure committed startup milestones.
  • Capabilities: improving capacity planning processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Keeping up to date on industry trends and best practices in Supply Chain Infrastructure and incorporating new technologies and processes as appropriate. Providing leadership and direction to the technical community, including training, and performance management.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant and/or Supply Chain fields related such as engineering, Supply Chain management, logistics, operations management, or business administration. Master's Degree: although it is not required, a master's degree in Supply Chain management, business administration, or a related field is good to have. MBA with focus in Supply Chain management can provide additional business acumen and a broader understanding of managerial decision-making.

Related Work Experience:

+5 years of experience in capacity planning, Supply Chain management, or related field –including risk management (preferably in the food & beverages industry). +5 years of experience in capacity planning, forecasting, or related areas –including proficiency in capacity planning tools and software. +5 years of experience in Project Management of initiatives with agility and inclusion as the most critical components. Leading cross-functional projects, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed successfully. Good to have experience in Industry 4.0, IoT and/or digital Supply Chain initiatives.
