DirecciónEDDY Pump Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Design Engineer Supervisor to join our team in Tijuana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and extensive experience with SolidWorks. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled engineers and contribute to the development of innovative pumping solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Design Engineers in the development of cutting-edge pumping technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements and manufacturing standards.
Manage design projects from concept to completion, including design reviews, testing, and implementation.
Implement best practices for design documentation, including GD&T standards and engineering drawings.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize designs for production efficiency and product quality.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Mechanical Design and pumping technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, with a focus on industrial equipment or pump design.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T principles is required.
Experience managing a team of Design Engineers and leading design projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
