Senior Project Lead Engineer

This position reports to

Engineering Manager II

Your responsibilities

  • Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements.
  • Developing and reviewing standard processes, tools and techniques while ensuring that engineering activities comply with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Overseeing new subcontracts and assisting supply chain with managing subcontractors.
  • Assisting project managers in risk and opportunity assessments and implementing improvement and mitigation actions.
  • Preparing project engineering proposals, coordinating documents and engineering estimates, and performing risk analyses.
  • Providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
  • Supporting contract managers in issuing claims related to changes in project scope, including assessing cost and time impacts as well as risk quantifications.
  • Resolving complex technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and elsewhere.

    • Your background

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electrical-Mechanical Engineering or any other related Engineering Degree.
  • 5-6 years of experience working in similar position and 3 years with leadership.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI and EPLAN is a plus.
  • Experience in Electric Diagrams.
  • Demonstrated ability in analyzing and solving problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Know how to give feedback and how to give coaching - Clear communication of objectives.
  • Advanced level of English.
