Project description
One of the world's largest multichannel video programming distributor is searching for a Senior QA Automation Engineer. The project focuses on a video streaming platform development. Our team spans across multiple time zones (majorly, USA & Poland) and covers the entire product life cycle, including architecture, design, coding, DevOps, testing, and the rest of the software development activities required to ensure uninterrupted content streaming service to millions of customers worldwide. We work using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a process framework and use software development best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, etc.
Responsibilities
- Automate design, creation and execution test cases that validate client data functionality for various reporting suites: NewRelic, ComScore, Nielsen, Adobe, Raptor. - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts that validate client app functionality. - Troubleshoot test failures and create bugs for identified issues; create and validate bug fixes. - Periodically update automation framework to maintain compliance and support new features. - Utilize automation tooling to shorten client Release Candidate test cycles. - Schedule and participate in Adhoc/planned working sessions as needed with Development and other stakeholders to resolve issues. - Write bugs and validate bug fixes. - KPI impacting incident deep dives to re-validate client reporting; create bugs/verify fixes. - Support client dev teams in various in investigations by providing supporting data and duplicatable scenarios.
Skills
Must have
- Development experience with Appium, Selenium, JavaScript, Java, Webdriver.io, Python to automate test case execution. - Experience in testing and data validation for iOS, Android, and TV Platforms (i.e., Apple TV, Android TV, FireTV, Roku, Samsung TV). - Experience with Grafana, Charles Proxy, Wireshark, and other debugging tools. - Client development experience with iOS/Android and TV Platforms running Pure RN a plus.
