Quick Overview Oversee and implement the SEO for up to 30 clients within their portfolio including, but not limited to the following efforts:
- Content
- Citations
- Web 2.0's
- Press Releases
- & More
Job Responsibilities
- Create Onsite Content & Web 2.0 Strategies
- Identify duplicate content or other problems that can arise in reporting or optimization
- Develop content recommendations and technical analysis presentations
- Collaborate with social, paid, and offline marketing teams to implement SEO tactics designed to meet specific goals
- Optimize web pages by using SEO, CRO, and SMO best practices
- Decide upon final keyword lists with minimal supervision
- Prioritize tasks based on their likely effectiveness and ability to be implemented
- Present findings and back up recommendations with hard data on all SEO related leads/sales/installs
- Formulate and execute link-building strategies
- Mentor and teach junior team members a best practice approach to SEO
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or director
- Continuously improve SEO skill set, staying up to date with shifts in the marketplace.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing SEO efforts preferred but not required
- Experience with keyword research, strategy and strategy implementation.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarify, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems is a plus
- Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Innovative thinker, intuitive learner, with ability to quickly find solutions in fast-moving industry.
- Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills with an attention to detail
