Plastic Omnium Module division develops, assembles and delivers complex, just-in-sequence modules for mass production. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to the Software Manager and align with him on technology, strategy, performance goals and self-goals establishment and monitor.
- SW Design activities:
- Estimate task time.
- Follow and align to design methodology (V model, Waterfall, Agile), V model or similar and ASPICE.
- Capable to read and understand customer requirements as well to identify unclear items and to propose possible solutions.
- Create, modify/update design documents. It can be by implementing standard design tools. Ideally knowledge on UML (Unified Modeling Language).
- Create, modify/update language C code components.
- Perform works product reviews and supporting on fix proposal.
- If required, to create supporting scripts by using Python, Pearl or any other modern scripting tool.
- Create, modify/update unit test cases and integration test cases. Ideally with LDRA, can be with other tools as required.
- AUTOSAR background preferred
- Evaluate supplier information and provide feedback when needed to identify new technical solutions or competitive opportunities.
- Identify areas of improvement for the development process and provide ideas for improvement if needed.
- Support new customer quotations and consult with cost-effective technologies.
- Cooperation with the Team to develop an improve team strength.
- Contribute to a good work environment of respect and transparency.
- Share knowledge and experience with the team.
- Communicate with customers required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
- Bachelor’s degree on Electronics, Mechatronics or Computer Science or education in similar area.
- Master’s degree in electrical/computer science engineering is a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
- Strong experience on C programing language, 8+ year.
- Strong experience as a software developer in automotive, 8+ years. Ideally in Automotive Lighting.
- Demonstrate experience in Software / Embedded Software in various stages of the software. development life cycle.
- Demonstrate experience on Development Tools and Life Cycle Management Tools.
- Very good work organization and autonomous/self-motivated work-attitude.
- Ability to focus on what is most critical.
- Willingness to travel if required.
- Very good cost consciousness.
- Business fluent English language and communication skills.
- Business effective written documents in English.
- Willingness to provide and hear new ideas.
- Willingness to hear areas of self-improvement.
- Willingness and ability to share knowledge with the team members.
