We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our Global Supply Chain group. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in Supply Chain planning. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our Supply Chain processes to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products across the globe. The Senior Supply Chain Planner will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our global Supply Chain and contributing to the overall success of our medical industry operations. S/He will lead S&OE meetings and S&OP (Supply Planning) revisions. An ideal candidate will have a passion for process improvement within a virtual environment, enjoy collaborating with our cross-functional team, and be adept at driving organizational change. What you will do
  • Demand and Supply Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals. Create and execute supply plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.
  • S&OE / S&OP: lead weekly and monthly revisions with vendors and manufacturing sites to ensure alignment on strategies and, consequently, the supply in the short and long term.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure alignment with targeted goals. Implement strategies to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages.
  • Global Coordination: Work closely with international teams to synchronize Supply Chain activities, considering regional requirements and constraints. Facilitate communication and collaboration to enhance overall Supply Chain efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the Supply Chain and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges to prevent disruptions in the availability of medical products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance Supply Chain processes, incorporating industry best practices. Implement tools and methodologies to increase forecasting accuracy and streamline planning activities.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of materials. Collaborate on supplier development and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to analyze trends, evaluate performance metrics, and generate insights for decision-making. Provide regular reports and dashboards to management.

What you will need (job requirements)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7 years' experience in purchasing, supply planning, procurement, demand planning, or operations role. In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain principles, demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning, especially in the medical industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex Supply Chain concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Global Perspective: Understanding of global Supply Chain dynamics and the ability to navigate diverse regional requirements and regulations.
  • Data savvy – demonstrated expert-level of experience and capability with MS Excel.
  • Able to work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • ERP Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and other Supply Chain management tools. Dynamics 365 and/or Infor CSI are preferred.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and a dynamic global environment.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Licenses/certifications (all considered to be a plus for role):
    • Professional certificates in data science or analytics.
    • Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing; and
    • CPSM, CPIM, and/or PMP.
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives and priorities concurrently.
  • Knowledge of control and requirements for business within a regulated industry (i.e. FDA CFR) is a plus.
