ServiceNow Integration developer is responsibility of collecting requirements, discussing the requirements with the stakeholders, understanding the requirement, configure/develop the requirement in ServiceNow with expected quality and meet the project deadlines.

The additional responsibility includes

  • Meeting compliance and quality requirements of the organization
  • Highly motivated with professional individual who can contribute and support the organization in every aspect of the organization’s growth and expectations

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support go Live and hyper care phases
  • Train and provide knowledge transfer to new members of the team
  • Incident handling
  • Agile based delivery model
  • Develop integrations with 3rd party tools or ServiceNow to ServiceNow integration with scripted and OOB Rest API and SAOP web Services Technical solution validation before deployment
  • Does Technical assessment of new plugins installation and configuration to sertup business process
  • Implement best practices in coding and design as per ServiceNow standards and guidelines
  • Participation in requirement gathering phase to provide time estimation for thehe business needs
  • POC For Business requirements
  • Analysing technical development requirements.

Essential Skills and experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in development and Integration projects
  • Experience and knowledge working in APIs is a must
  • Desirible experience in ServiceNow development using most of the ServiceNow tools and features such as Business Rule, Script Include, AJAX, Glide Scripting, Java Scripting, Jelly Scripting, Service Portal, Angular JS, Widgets, Workflow, Catalogue Development, UI Page, UI Scripts, UI Action, Inbound Action, Notifications, REST & SOAP APIs, Workflow Custom Activities,
  • Experience working on building integrations that consume external APIs or build APIs for external systems consumption
  • Various module Knowledge (ITSM, ITOM, HR, Finance, GRC etc)
  • Ability to learn new technology and adopt changing business requirements
  • Strong customer handling and communication skills (must), ability to collect requirements, translate requirements into Technical design (detailed design) , development of requirement in ServiceNow, fix any defects, support UAT
  • Experience in handling Agile based delivery model
  • Able to deliver high quality deliverables
  • Work with the ServiceNow platform team, senior solution engineers, enterprise architecture, and the wider Product Manager community to find the best solutions for the company
  • Demonstrated understanding of service management processes, operations, and procedures
  • Supports Administrators in case of expert help required to solve production issues with the product
  • Ability to word independently or in a team with minimal supervision

Desirable Skills and experience:

  • ITIL Foundation certification (Preferred)
  • Good knowledge in Perl programming
  • Basic knowledge in phython
  • Strong and in-depth knowledge in JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge in Unix-SHELL Scripting
  • Good knowledge in Power Shell scripting
  • Good Knowledge in REST/SOAP API’s
  • Should have good knowledge of ServiceNow Scripting.
  • LDAP/Active Directory Knowledge preferred
  • Hands on development, management and deployment experience with ServiceNow
