Your Role and Impact
As our Sewing Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sewing department. You will apply your extensive knowledge of sewing techniques and production management to oversee the daily activities of the production line, guaranteeing that production targets are met without compromising quality. Your leadership will directly influence the efficiency, quality, and overall success of our sewing operations. In your role as Production Supervisor, you will report directly to Production Manager in Mexico. You will have a daily impact on our ability to produce just in time and with the highest quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising the Sewing Production line to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Implementing strategies and activities to enhance productivity and reduce turnaround time without sacrificing the finished product's quality and the utilization of rational equipment and resources.
- Training and mentoring staff on the latest sewing techniques and safety protocols.
- Plans and establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless production flow.
- Monitoring production metrics and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Who You Are
We are on the hunt for a skilled individual who is not only adept in managing Sewing Production lines but also shows profound leadership qualities. It´s an advantage if you:
- Have a relevant higher education, such as a degree in Engineering or related.
- Minimum 3-5 years of comprehensive experience in textile production, specifically in sewing operations as supervisor with a thorough understanding of sewing machines and production techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with aptitude for teaching and training staff in production practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective production strategies.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. English communication is a plus.
