About Higlobe 

We are an international payment platform that moves money instantly and with zero transaction fees. Our product is specifically designed for international professionals; overseas freelancers, contractors and independent workers with US business clients. We understand that having an easy payment method can bring more jobs and opportunities for international workers with a global mindset. We charge a flat monthly fee for customers' US receiving bank accounts that doesn’t fluctuate with the number of transactions made – allowing our customers to keep all of their money. 

We are a fully remote team with members working across various countries, all coming together to create an amazing product to support international companies and professionals. 

About the Social Media Specialist Role 

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing Social Media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive new user enrollments. If you have a passion for digital marketing and possess strong skills in advertising, graphic design, and content creation, we want to hear from you!

Fluency in Spanish and English are required for this role.

What you’ll do:  

  • Ownership of Social Media programming, including day-to-day writing and editing of social content, posting, community management, and optimization of content on multiple social platforms
  • Create original engagement-driven concepts for social
  • Establish and maintain writing guidelines for how Higlobe is represented in corporate communications
  • Ability to project manage and hit deadlines
  • Find smart, effective ways to insert Higlobe’s content and voice into online conversations to drive audience engagement, brand awareness, and relevancy
  • Engage the community by creating interactive posts as well as responding to comments and messages on social platforms
  • Stay up to date with the latest Social Media best practices, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to keep Higlobe ahead of the curve
  • Responsible for scheduling and implementing a daily/weekly/monthly Social Media calendar for each region
  • Recognize and react to real-time, emerging trends and current events to create content for distribution across social channels
  • Work with the marketing team to develop successful partner-affiliated Social Media content as well as execute, track and report analytics of campaigns
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to coordinate content initiatives and creative
  • Develop analytical reports to evaluate social performance and make recommendations for maximizing fan engagement
  • Passion for brand-driven growth and for social and content is required

Requirements  

  • 3+ years of experience managing Social Media accounts
  • Experience with Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X/Twitter and corresponding reporting/analytics
  • Strong experience in monitoring Social Media metrics, tracking and analyzing performance, and providing regular reports to assess the effectiveness of content
  • Extensive storytelling/copywriting/copy editing skills with the proven ability to write for Social Media
  • Experience using photo and video editing and design tools like Adobe Suite of products or Canva
  • A collaborative and positive team player with an enthusiastic work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to pitch creative ideas
  • Exceptional organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social publishing and listening tools like Later, Parsely, Sprout, Google Analytics, and/or CrowdTangle
  • Experience using collaboration tools like Monday, JIRA, and confluence are a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure and tight deadlines
