Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Software Life Cycle Management Lead will maintain the software tool catalog and work with key stakeholders to understand the consumption patterns of the software license consumption metrics and the adoption of various third party software as a part of a data and analytics platforms.

The person will work with the platform engineering and the architecture themes to manage tool adoption, communicate product Life Cycle status develop the Commission strategies and follow up on the execution of the same.

They will work with the product and portfolio management team to drive renewal cycles and maintain the total cost of ownership of the tools. This role will require a person with technical knowledge to articulate the usage patterns of software tools.

Your Impact.

As Associate Manager,Lead - Software Life Cycle Management your scope would consist of:

  • Maintain product catalog with the latest information
  • Work closely with the sustained team to ensure renewals are done timely for the tools
  • Lead tools estimation process for platform engineering new tools working closely with product owners
  • Ensure platform engineering team signs off on PE metrics for all the tools
  • Integrate product catalog with enterprise software Asset management for maintenance in support
  • Manage/leade-product upgrades/ decommissioning Life Cycle by partnering with internal, sector partners and vendors.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?  

Years of experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Software LifeCycle Management and working with stakeholders to understand the adoption and usage of tools.

Technological skills:

  • +3 years of experience with Azure (certification is preferred)
  • 1-2 years hands on experience with scripting (PowerShell, phyton, Azure, CLI)
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and data analysis
  • High level of expertise with excel and microsoft office
  • Experience configuring and monitoring Azure PaaS services, Git, GitHub.
  • Ability to pick up I TSM tools like ServiceNow

Non technological skills:

  • Customer obsession, ownership, bias for action
  • Excellent remote collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with diverse priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with collaboration and listening skills
  • Ability to work with agile delivery methodologies
  • Ability to ideate requirements and design iteratively with business partners without formal requirements documentation
