Director is responsible for providing deep subject matter expertise as a leader of a large supply chain engagement. They will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the team and how the team works. Partnering with executive leadership you will refine the organizational structure, deploy standard work, staff the organization and develop and deploy a governance process to ensure optimal results.
Responsibilities Manage the material planning team and process with key experience working with key stakeholders to create and manage materials planning, forecast analytics, and distribution Identify key plan risks to support Sales and Operations Planning, incorporating that into business contingency plans. Drive root cause corrective action plans to improve overall team performance. Document and refine standard work Document and drive governance processes Measurement and reporting of trends to assist in identifying opportunities for increased plan performance and process improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to effective decision-making capability. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to generate actionable insights from large qualitative and quantitative data Ability to collaborate with Customer, planning and purchasing to identify optimal opportunities that affect the business. Experience driving supply chain strategy, business case for change, target operating model, leading teams a must Familiarity with solutions such as o9 and SAP Experience both selling consulting services, and leading delivery of consulting projects a plus Qualifications we seek in you Minimum qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for success and is known for their leadership, quality work and expertise within the supply chain space. Preferred qualifications Demonstrated expertise with a combination in supply chain consulting or operations Ability to connect with senior client partners and deliver results Good knowledge and understanding of supply chain areas planning/logistics/aftersales
Good understanding of supply chain services/analytics market and nearshore, offshore delivery Understanding of annuity revenue models and outcome-based customer value delivery Knowledge of ERP and platforms/solutions like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Kinaxis, Llamasoft, E2Open, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, O9, etc. Strong customer orientation, analytical skills, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills Experience in CPG/Retail/Manufacturing/Hi-tech industry Experience leading large teams in a manufacturing environment Location and Travel Candidates should be located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX. Travel tends to fluctuate depending on client needs but typically is in the range of 10-25%.
