TheSenior Finance Systems Analyst supports multiple Honeywell Strategic BusinessGroups (SBG’s), managing certain consolidations activity within HFM in supportof multiple internal stakeholders’ and aggregating information to be presentedto our External Reporting team from multiple contacts. This position is accountable for thefollowing (but not limited to) the following activities: timely identificationand booking of Cash Flow Blocks within HFM, timely identification and bookingof USD Overrides within HFM, posting ad-hoc journal entries in support of BAP,performing a tie out of SAP to HFM and preparing monthly, preparation ofmonthly, quarterly and annual (ME, QUE and YES) schedules for the use of ourExternal Reporting Team. For the successcompletion of her/his duties the Senior Consolidations analyst will be expectedto efficiently communicate to SBG contacts, have a background in accounting,have previously used SAP or HFM, and be willing to work through complex issueson a tight deadline to ensure consolidated results to management are availabletimely.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the Aerospace Technologies financial data submitted to Corporate via Hyperion/HFM.
- Analysis and review of HFM consolidation aspects prior to submission to Consolidations Manager. Includes review of
- Equity Accounts, statistical accounts, annual transfers to Corp, top level entries etc).
- Responsible for the Aerospace eliminations process which includes the profit in inventory reserve.
- Booking Cash Flow Blocks and USD overrides within HFM.
- Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual (ME, QUE and YES) schedules for the use of our External Reporting Team.
- Act as support between Consolidations Group and business entities for all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial Hyperion reporting queries and Hyperion reporting changes.
- Assist with Foreign exchange hedging, Leasing and Legal Entity Simplification (LES) accounting matters.
- Documentation of internal control activities related to each of these responsibilities.
- Provide support to Internal and External Audit requests.
- Responsible for Preparing and Coordinating Government reporting related to Aerospace Technologies.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of three years in the consolidations arena.
- Strong financial systems knowledge – specific knowledge of Hyperion/HFM, SAP, Excel
- Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and meet reporting deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced written and spoken English language.
- Strong organizational, analytical and follow-up skills
