Sr Mechanical Designer

Create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard design concepts.

Senior Project Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Nuevo Leon and elsewhere.
• Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.
• Cost-effectively executing Mechanical Designer project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals, and disseminating engineering best practices to aid colleagues’ development.
• Creating and delivering work plans, budgets and risk assessments.
• Developing your management skills by working with entry-level employees.
• Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer, Mechanical Administrator, Automotive Design Engineer or related.
• Five years of experience working in similar positions.
• Knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical panels and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams and Power BI is desirable.
• Experience working with Solidwork.
• Intermediate English level.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, strong written and spoken communication skills and proactive.
