About the role
Key responsibilities
1. Responsible for the development of new products, maintaining adequate and assertive communication regarding their status between their manager, sales and the client.
2. Attend and define the manufacturing process of new products in coordination with the production and marketing area.
3. Correctly assist sales in customer visits and innovation presentations.
4. Responsible for conducting chemical and sensory studies, experimental designs, etc. that support the development or improvement of new products.
5. Interact and support customers with any technical issue regarding Kerry products and their applications.
6. Works with peers to understand and improve products, processes, regulations, suppliers, specifications, etc.
7. Develops products according to specific client briefs, regarding quality guidelines, nutrition, legislation and food safety.
Qualifications and skills
Skills in the development and management of new products, highly focused experience in the formulation of seasonings for snacks.
Knowledge of physicochemical and microbiological food analysis methodologies.
Knowledge in management of raw materials used in the development of food formulas.
Knowledge of main food legislation in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean region (desirable).
Use of basic software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, ECC/SAP, formulation systems, Salesforce, etc.
Food engineer or similar.
5 years of experience at least.
Intermediate-Advanced English.
