DirecciónAs our Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll play a vital role at Ford Credit (FC)
We are looking for an individual that will be central to continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of all programmatic requests. You will perform all technical administration work in FC Salesforce platforms, collaborating also with FC teams in business-related Salesforce administration projects. Additionally, you will contribute on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate proposals received, and deliver IT solutions required in FC Salesforce platforms. At the same time, your work will need to be coordinated with existing FC IT organization to ensure a smooth integration of Salesforce platforms in current FC IT technology landscape.
This role comes with the potential to grow/evolve as part of the new and evolving Salesforce strategy of FC.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce dev ecosystem (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Java).
- Significant experience in web development environments (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong ability to understand and collaborate working with application designs, technology stacks, multiple codebases, and related business objectives.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce application lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines, including testing).
- Experience with Trigger,Apex, Lightning Web Components/Aura Components, and managed packages, and strong hands-on experience in development practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including creating Salesforce flows, entry-criteria/profiles, and data migrations
- Hands on experience with Omni Script, Flex card UI framework, Data raptor Extract/Load/Transform and Integration procedure procedure
- Experience with system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP), as well as Vlocity Integration Procedure.
- Ability to write, interpret and critique technical specifications.
- Proactive attitude to integrate Salesforce innovations into existing solutions.
Qualifications & Background
- Degree in computer science/ engineering, Data science or related field
- 5+ years of Salesforce Service Cloud development knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce development lifecycle tools & techniques
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certifications
- Proficiency in Salesforce development (using Microsoft Visual Studio and Salesforce Lightning Design System)
Certifications
- Salesforce alteast 2 X Certified (Salesforce Developer/Omni Script Developer)

- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and end users) to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
- Coordinate projects with Salesforce Administrators to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
- Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems using Salesforce technology and resources (focusing on reusability).
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers) to extend Salesforce to support business requirements.
- Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages and Web Components.
- Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other corporate systems following existing standards.
- Integrate additional business applications to Salesforce (such as DocuSign).
- Collaborating with Ford IT /Development teams to integrate Salesforce across the business.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development. Extend those best practices across Ford organizations.
- Support Salesforce Administrator needs.
- Develop IN Visualforce, Apex & LWC in Salesforce core platform (Sales & Service Cloud)
- Configuration and customization of Salesforce platform based on business / product requirements
- Work closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters and business to plan, design and implement product capability within platform using Agile development methodology.
- Build integrations Salesforce with Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Mulesoft
- Configure and customize Salesforce security architecture (sharing, permission, roles, profiles, external & named credentials), SSO, federation, APIs).
- Develop Salesforce standard reports and dashboard based on business requirements
