Job Responsibilities
- Scheduling of Incoming material, overall ownership of material ordering and availability
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives are met.
- Release Work orders to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory & prepare requirements for purchased and manufactured parts.
- Schedule & Coordinate shipments for Customers or Coating Suppliers
- Analyze, Planning and require the raw material and/or subassemblies for OEM & Service Parts production line’s (releases)
- Avoid production line shutdown due to lack of raw material or subassemblies
- Manage Phase In / Phase Out to avoid obsolete material
- To resolve all the discrepancies of shipments with suppliers and internal customers
- Drive continuous improvements
- Support to engineering change’s (pro launch and cost out projects) and new projects
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives
- Follow-up supplier shipments & Track the supplier delivery
- Maintaining ERP system in regularly bases and follow the FIN-28
- Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution
- Release and tracking the Work order for subassemblies parts.
- Active Participation in Danfoss Activities (Inventory, Audits, Opex projects)
- Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Danfoss IATF 16949 and ISO 14000
Background & Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or similar
- MFG Pro Intermediate level(Desirable)
- English Basic Level
- Negotiations & Leadership skills
- ERP Planning skills (desirable MFG/Pro)
- MRP knowledge
- Technical knowledge of bill of material structuring, schedule execution, and inventory management
- APICS training (Desirable)
- 1 or 2 Years of experience as Buyer Planner, materials planner in automotive industry or similar, working with global suppliers
- Work under the guidelines and policies of Danfoss, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental.
