DirecciónAs a Strategy & Planning Associate, you will help to build our customer support infrastructure across LATAM and the world. You will also help us transform Uber into a more customer centric company. You will intake strategic projects from conceptualization to implementation that would, in the end, result in a better service for drivers and riders. Finally, you will develop presentations to communicate strategic plans and visions, report on weekly/monthly/quarterly results and opportunities, author central initiatives, explore sophisticated business issues, coordinate key strategic meetings with different teams, and develop respective action plans.
You'll need to have a strategic approach with strong analytical skills, good time-management and act as a strong collaborator with a creative and problem solving demeanor.

What You'll Do- Design and lead projects and drive analysis to advise meaningful strategic decisions that improve the support experience for our customers;
- Lead strategic projects to provide insights to our support service model;
- Coordinate with other members of the Global Community Operations Team to measure the impact and efficiency of products and business processes;
- Provide insights and recommendations that drive decisions around process, policy and service model;
- Develop frameworks to support the company with new markets and products;
- Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes;
- Develop and lead tools and processes to complete strategic and business plans;
- Actively support all strategic planning and analytical activity for senior management in the region.
- English proficiency: Advanced or proficient
- SQL : Ideally, has worked at least 1 year with SQL in a consistent basis (on average once a week) or has equivalent experience (example: worked with these tools in academic environment or worked for longer but in a less consistent frequency)
- Connects data to real life: Phenomenal understanding of databases, data relationships and data integrity; you will not stick to data but will also try to understand how what she reads translates into the real world.
- Strong ability to take a long-term view of the whole picture and think about the business at a strategic level
- Strong communication skills that will allow you to digest and understand business needs from different cities and product lines
- Resourcefulness, self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment, addresses sophisticated problems with autonomy and get into the details approach
- Business curiosity and a constant seek to improve your understanding of the business and the tools you use
- You share your findings with your team and encourage others (and yourself) to tackle new opportunities for further development
- Analytical rigor is a must
- Ideally some experience in tech companies, consulting, corporate strategic planning, or related fields, but we're open to consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
