DirecciónJob Description: Superintendent Manager The Superintendent Manager is responsible for managing the manufacturing team so they achieve objectives in terms of safety, quality, speed, and employee development. They will participate and organize meetings with internal team members or across functions.
General Responsibilities Manage manufacturing team with activities of organizing, planning, implementing, directing, motivating, and evaluating Drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, work-in-progress inventory and cycle time reduction, indirect material usage reduction. Drive cost reduction projects Manage assigned resources to meet production and cost targets Organize and implement the company's production control functions including master scheduling and production planning Develop manufacturing staffing model including hiring, training and multi-skill development Initiate both long term and short term training programs to upgrade manufacturing ability and operator skills with the goal of further improving people and asset effectiveness Maintain, develop and implement effective manual, and computer reporting systems for productivity, turnover, absenteeism and other manufacturing indices Lead problem solving activities at production level Experience / Qualifications A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers Smarter
