The Credit Initiation Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to assess the ability of individuals, companies and institutions to meet the demands of loans, agreements and extended obligations in coordination with the Operations - Services team.The overall objective of this role is to ensure financial threats to the company are minimized by determining the terms or level of credit that can be granted without undue risk.
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a small team of Credit Initiation Specialists, and ensure the quality of tasks, and performance goals are met
  • Manage exceptions utilizing credit knowledge and signing authority and train and coach Credit Initiation Specialists
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of customer documentation and recorded information within computerized systems
  • Interpret procedures and policies to guide support staff in resolving complex problems
  • Serve as a backup to the Senior Supervisor, escalate problems and recommend revisions to procedures as needed
  • Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions, and analyzing information to provide evaluative judgements
  • Provide input on training and development needs for assigned personnel
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Familiarity and understanding of financial industry preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Planeación y seguimiento de la asignación de cargas de trabajo de acuerdo al volumen de trámites ingresado diariamente.
  • Monitorear y generar la disminución de desviaciones  detectadas en el equipo.
  • Mantener actualizados procedimientos y diagramas de flujo con los cambios que pudieran presentarse, así como comunicarlos a equipo de colaboradores.
  • Asegurar y vigilar el cumplimiento de políticas y procedimientos operativos.
  • Gestión de equipo de 20 personas
